Six years into a 12-month stay, Hill bids sad farewell — Column
at 10:33:04

Great write up.

Clint, the man is a legend and hero, the last few years we have been lumbered with so called better players but every time Hill has had to put on his Superman act and come to the rescue. One of my favourite players ever to wear the hoops for his sheer grit, determination, passion, organisation and he can play a bit as well.

My son and I met him on the Liverpool tube a few years back and were fortunate to have his attention for 5 minutes, my son just stood there speechless looking up at him as we talked football, QPR etc. He was more than happy to give us the time of day.

Clint Hill, we just like watching Clint Hill.............

An all too familiar feeling - report
at 22:06:25

Cracking report, I met up with an old mate of mine who is a Stoke fan and his mates in town before the game- they could not believe how the likes of Hill, Dunne, Henry, Krancjar, Barton get into a premiership 11. I stood up for Dunne and Hill as they will always give 100% and to an extent Henry but I had to be honest and admit they were right. The only player they were scared off was Austin but I soon made them understand that he would get zero service and not to worry.

I could not fault the effort from the players but we need skill and technique crafted on the training ground by Arry and his gang of supposed coaches - probably have to wait until next season for that to happen when we get a new manager.

I thought the fans were great and gave there all to inspire the team.

I had to suffer the footy bus back into Stoke town and the joking of how poor we were, the worst team to visit the Britannia.

The strange thing is I think we can still survive as the likes of Hull, Leicester, Burnley and goal shy Villa are all just as poor as us. If somehow we can get Sandro and Yun Suk Young to play a run of 6 games, get Vargas off the wing to support Austin with a new winger (really want philips to do well but he needs more time to adapt in the prem, I'm sure there is a good winger in there), keep Fer Central and break up the Henry Barton midfield combo.

Keep the faith (11 out of 11 but somehow we still have a chance).

The end of the longest, hardest road — full match preview
at 22:21:29

No need to apologise for releasing your frustrations, after the season we have had I am sure it has happened to all of us this season, superb column and look forward to more of the same next season.
I am looking forward to next season, surely it is going to be better than this.
No matter what has happened this season I will still be a proud QPR fan and be proud to stick my QPR towel on a tenerife beach in the summer, hopefully throwing a chelski shirt or towel in the sea/pool to make way.
