More realistically, Oxford have a very good away record (undefeated in 12 league games this season and only 7 goals conceded) but the bookies are offering shorter odds on a home win, and a 1-0 result wouldn't surprise me. [Post edited 4 Feb 2014 21:25]

2097 - me & another Dale Season Ticket holder amongst 'home' fans. Keith was there & stayed to the (bitter)ly cold end. Flitcroft's got Bury well drilled & solid defensively & Jones looked class (need a strong left side against him). Tutte typically drifted in & out of the game but hit 1 excellent strike near the death which was well saved. Grimes as ever played the 4 best through balls of the first half and then drifted into obscurity. Long balls to Platt worked well in the last 20 mins but in all honesty it's a poor pitch - very sticky & took the sting out of Oxford's passing game. We'll struggle to play our usual game so maybe worth considering 3 in midfield & a Vincenti/Hogan central pairing for March 7th? | |
