Andy Pugwash Birch RIP 19:26 - Aug 21 with 1427 viewsArthurDaley

Sadly Andy passed away last night. He posted on here a few times to put over the case for Hornets. He was passionate about Hornets, and sometimes rubbed people up the wrong way on here. He was the type of supporter every club needs.

RIP Andy

Sorry to hear that Pugwash has 'gone overboard'.

He certainly fought the Hornets 'corner' when he needed to do. Hornets have lost a stalwart supporter.

RIP.

Poor chap looked to be struggling last time I saw him . It should be remembered he played a part in the joint Hornets/Dale Trust "Save Our Spotland" campaign to improve the pitch in 2006.

R.I.P. Andy

Really sad to hear this news today.

I met this man on a number of occasions and despite me not being either a big Hornets or RL fan he always took the time to engage.

Keen to see Rochdale as a place do well regardless of perceived sporting differences.

RIP
