Absolutely horrific and a total lack of accountability.

Apparently in one police incident they where called at an old house to find an 11/12 girl drunk with several men who where also drunk...
The police arrested the girl for under age drinking......
The men where not even cautioned...
Great policing we have in this country.....
Those officers in question regarding that incident need removing from the police immediately.....

The subject is very serious as to is the First World War and the totalitarian regime of the Soviet Union (two other things you've bizarrely accused me showing scant regard for and replicating). I was gently ribbing you because you got yourself all worked up again deary. Don't worry, nobody thought you were being racist. Just like this forum isn't the gulag and posting on the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World does not represent dancing on the graves of those poor men who made the ultimate sacrifice.

As for point scoring, there is no way I'd do that on the 238th anniversary of the Battle of Long Island.

Anyway back to the point in hand. No wonder heads are not falling:

Not bad work if you can get it, especially if there is no accountability.

The police chief in South Yorkshire and any other senior officer who knew about this must be sacked....not asked to resign and given a pension...sacked...These idiots along with the social workers allowed this abuse to carry on. Purely because they were too frightened of being branded racist.Stuff the race issue just treat them as dispicable criminals and get them sorted.
If all senior officers and social workers are sacked and loose all previlidges then maybe other forces will decide to act .
A tide of change has to occur and happen right now.

I think the cover up's go beyond the Police, Anybody notice how this came out just Months after Racist Pro-Islamic Politician Sayeeda Warsi stepped down. If anybody notices aswell Yorkshire is her background, Think the Rotherham issue were real reason behind her resignation, But no doubt some do-gooder will come along & Call me racist, I fully expect Bradford, Leeds or Burnley to be the next exposed in the Press.

Not an elected politician but a member of the house of lords.

She has nothing to do with the cover ups. Seems to be something to do with the policies of your Labour mates on a national and local level!

No.

It is not a Muslim or an Islam issue. It is cultural issue relating to Pakistani men who are from the Punjab region.

Child abuse caused by the Labour Party?

Yes, of course. After all it was that notorious socialist Margaret Thatcher who persistently entertained Jimmy Saville for dinner at Chequers...

I said in a previous thread on this subject that many towns with a similar demographic to Rochdale would be coming out of the woodwork in due course. Rotherham is just the latest, but there will be others.

When will it end? When the police and social services stop treating it as a racial problem to be swept under the carpet.

I thought that there had been convictions in High Wycombe, Oxford and somewhat surprisingly Banbury?

Sorry it was a little dig at Tazzy who says everything is the evil Tory's fault!

Saville is different, although related issue. The vast majority of grooming gangs are made up of Punjabi's whereas most other child abuse is committed by white, British born males.

I would question at a local level why councillors who knew about the allegations did nothing? Perhaps they are dependent on the votes from this area of the community who as postal voting scandals show are heavily influenced by 'community elders' and didn't want to upset the apple cart?

Secondly if you encourage large numbers of people to come to this country in a short period of time some bringing with them markedly different values you reap what you sow. Look at Tower Hamlets and its third world democracy.

Finally the now unofficial law whereby one thirty year old allegation can lead to Cliff Richard being investigated, yet many allegations against Punjabi's do not get investigated.

I have local knowledge here. Oxford is a Labour council. There have not been any Tory councillors for years and they are not that close in any wards apart from one. The council is a mixture of Labour, LibDem and Green and fluctuates between Labour control and no overall control. The MP for Oxford East (ie where the football ground is) is Labour with a large majority. The rest of Oxford is lumped in with areas outside Oxford and has a Tory MP with a tiny majority, partly due to boundary changes which happen almost every election. The previous MP was LibDem with a bigger, but still small majority.

Oxfordshire County Council and the various district councils on the other hand are almost entirely Tory, where some areas would elect a donkey if it had a blue rosette on it. David Cameron in Witney is a prime example. If you live there and you are not a Tory you might as well not bother voting - the joys of our electoral system, but that is another subject.

There is a significant Pakistani minority in Banbury. My somewhat non-PC colleague who lives there sometimes complains about the attitude some of the children have towards his wife who works as a teaching assistant in a primary school. I do not know about Wycombe but I expect it is the same.

Thinking about moving to Pakistan and committing some sex crimes over there - any idea what local feeling will be towards my actions?

I assume it will be ok and will be ignored for years due to the PC approach they take and that even if caught I will do 6 - 10 in comfort at there expense?

I imagine there's loads of child abuse goes on over there, but is not thought of or treated as child abuse. I also imagine that there are people who sort out those who they think have abused their children outside of the law.
Doesn't affect how we should treat it though. Good luck.
