Haven't seen this mentioned on here. It's Eric's funeral tomorrow at Blakely Crematorium at 1.30pm. Despite being born in Bratfurt he was a life long Dale fan, and attended with his Dad, also Eric and sat in the Main Stand. Eric died from one of those horrible debilitating diseases and passed away at the untimely age of 61. |  | | |  |

I knew Eric well. I was best mates with his lad Graeme all the way through school and still mates with him now so I was gutted to hear the news. Used to always be round his house as a kid playing football with his lad. Loved Rochdale AFC and always used to chat about the football whenever I saw him.

Very sad to hear of his passing and my thoughts go out to his his wife, his lads, Graeme and Robert, both of whom are just too young to be losing their Dad and the rest of his family.
