All on the back of going into administration and not paying debts of circa £5million in 2008.
They made a loss of circa 15million!!! for year end July 2013 with 10million being spunked on wages alone. Can only assume this has increased since then.
It's great for the fans and a lot of credit to Eddie Howe, he has done the business, but it is far from the 'minnows' story being portrayed in the media.

But by now reaching the premier league they have now made all that money spent worth it. Like buying £15 million pounds worth of Euromillions tickets to win £150 million jackpot rollover!
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10

It's as easy as printing money!!
To be fair with the exception of the administration bit I don’t have much of a problem with what they have done. If Mr Denim has the cash to back it up and that’s what he wants to spend his money on then fair enough but let’s call it what it is. They have bought their success (36k a week for Kenwyne Jones & 20k a week on Wilson allegedly), for me it’s not much different to what man city / Chelsea have done just on a smaller scale - not quite the fairytale that most news outlets are portraying.

Its a great achievement, but the backing of a Russian billionaire also helps!
Exactly, not so much 'little' Bournemouth that the media are trying to portray, just another team splashing the cash to make it to the PL. They've been in a financial mess before, they will do again, maybe that will wipe the smarmy look off Eddie Howe's face
Life is a game of fate.

no bitterness from me, they pursued their dreams and achieved, by all accounts playing good football.
while we have never gone into administration there have been times in our history when bills were not paid.
What a great time to be a bournmouth fan. good luck to all at bournmouth. its a fantastic story.
Lets hope we have a bit more of the 'yes we can' next season.
And while we are on that, good luck to Brentford on saturday...on the outside looking in but who knows what will happen.

They (along with other teams) should have been punted into the non-leagues after going into administration; starting at the very bottom and made to work their way up. Wonder what Hilly makes of their success?
The worm of time turns not for the cuckoo of circumstance.

In other news.......Bradford are apparently on the radar of wee Bernie Eccleston as a possible buy from fatgit Lawn..........BE has money to burn so Rory McArdle might be available soon as countless Internationals turn up at Valley Parade.

To be fair they have also kept players such as Stacksteads lad Marc Pugh through each promotion.
Everything thats been, has past. The answers in the looking glass!
