So what`s this at the kick off,kicking the ball backwards,when and why was this changed? To me it`s one of the fundamentals of the game,the ball must go forward from the centre spot at least its full circumference.

Why don't they change the rule where an injured player has to leave the pitch before immediately coming back on.

They no longer need to leave the field if the treatment comes after a yellow/red card foul on them.

I think it does make a difference...

You're team is winning 2-0 & concede in the 90th minute. The opposition now can't rush in & close the kick off down, he can simply loft the ball in the air to his centre half, who nods it to his keeper, & time waste just after conceding a goal.
