All that is mentioned is that he's an attacking player and I presume given the tone of Hill's comments that he's contracted to another club. And yes, he will be on a decent wedge at Cardiff. Holt was apparently on £24k a week at Wigan and still came to us, so you never know.

IF and it's a big if, Done was to become available would we have to break our transfer record to bring him back permanently? Regardless of how much Sheff Utd rate him (or don't) I can imagine there being an absolute uproar amongst Blades fans if he was to return to the club they bought him from, only 18 months later for virtually nothing.
I would rate Done on a par with COG just for how he enabled the whole team to play, something we've really struggled to replicate since. I think the high intensity, quick counter attacking and very fluid system which we played up to when we sold him was us at our very best and I think as close to a 'no fear' attitude as we are ever likely to return to. A forward 4 of McDermott, NML, Henderson and Done is promotion standard without doubt. | | | |
