The obvious gaps for me are a left back and another out and out striker. Preferably a left back who can get forward in the same way to McLaughlin and an experienced physical presence kind of striker. Some Newby/Baah/Done can run off.

A few weeks ago I'd have said Wilbraham was a likely option to return. The fact he's now in his 40's isn't such a huge issue when you're training all week and playing most weeks but presumably, he's not had a pre-season anywhere You'd assume he's done what he can fitness wise but someone coming in now who hasn't trained properly for weeks, maybe since March, is probably gonna take a good while to get up to speed and we're already behind on that front according to BBM.
Like the sound of this Banks on loan from Palace and fully expect us to have to use the loan market to boost our attacking options unless we can find someone who hasn't been picked up yet desperate for a club who may be able to do a job.
Obviously we need a left back as well, preferably not Joe Bunney. |  |
