I've recently learnt of the sad passing away of a lovely chap Allan Lord from Smithybridge who I've had the pleasure of knowing for years and years who worked on the turnstiles at the club for 30 years it seems(,according to his daughter.)

What's the best way of contacting the club regarding some sort of thanks for his time and efforts?
Cheers

I also knew Allan through various retirement groups in Littleborough as well as at the club - he was indeed a lovely, funny and very interesting man and will be deeply missed.

I've been in contact with Murray today so passed his details onto Allan's daughters, they're over the moon the club would like to remember their dad properly.

Thanks for the contact 442, much appreciated

Not a problem. Glad you were able to sort it, especially if it’s helped his family.
