He's currently the only player in the squad who could assume the role that Scott Quigley's occupying, but the latter won't be available for 90 minutes every game and certainly by the time the FA Cup comes around we should have Charman back in contention, maybe with a run out in a Pizza Cup game or two

It's good to see Tahv back. He'll still be a number of weeks away from a first team return, but it's minutes in the legs and hopefully no reaction. He can then have a crack at playing in a front two and getting plenty of the ball, rather than being isolated. We'll have a better idea of the striker we bought.
Also good for SAJ to get more minutes, though he looked in great nick on Saturday.
The more time Malley get's, the more I expect him to cement a first team place. He's looked very good each time I've seen him and he offers the ability to carry the ball from midfield. |  | | |

Some good points made here, we look like we have an abundance of riches in midfield and with Brierly and Malloy pulling the strings and chipping in with goals it looks rosy in there. We need Tahv to get fit and quick as we will be knackered if Quig picks up an injury. My issue is whilst we have found our shooting boots we concede all to easily. Malley is an interesting signing.
He showed so decent touches last saturday and he gave the crossbar a good rattle, he looks the sort that Dale require for that quick movement with the ball..
The short contract may hopefully extended to a longer contract unless he as eyes for elsewhere come January.. |  |
