Haverfordwest ground wasn’t up to scratch. They were turned down by the Swans and Scarlets apparently. Carmarthen not up to scratch. Aber have just spent 60 grand on floodlight upgrades and only just had their licence approved. So I think it was CCS, Brewery Field, or Park Hall. Good luck to Haverfordwest. I played there a dozen or so times in the mid eighties.

As an alternative challenge, have him count the number of times WOL mention ‘capital city’ in their Cardiff City reports (of which there are many). More challenging maybe, looking for an article that doesn’t mention it.

Martell Taylor-Crossdale the centre forward had a big reputation in Chelsea u21s but has had a precipitous fall from grace. England u20 to boot. I recall wondering who Clement could bring in from Chelsea.
