The council get a loss making assets off their books. Hornets get long term security and lower rent costs. We get the opportunity to develop the ground into something that generates money. This would be an excellent Christmas present.

If the Council are shedding their share in the loss maker that is the stadium company - and presumably the stadium will continue to run at a loss in the short term at least - then, quid pro quo, will a part of the deal be for the Council to provide and sign over the land for the training facililty we've been after for some years?
