Albeit innacurate.....he didnt guide the club to Wembley. Stiil makes for a great story as you say.

He did enough to be proud of with this sloppy journalism.

He was the manager when I first started going. He did a great job with the usual next to nothing amount of cash available. He was a modern thinker about the game who had the team playing Brazil's 4-2-4 formation when most teams at our level were still playing the old 2-3-5.

Tony signed players I can still remember fondly Big Reg, George Morton, David Storf, Graham Cunliffe to name just a few.

I'd love to read the book, it'll be fascinating I'm sure.
