Unfortunately it was the same at the height of summer in 2018 for the game against Sweden. Think there were about 10-12 people there and that was a quarter final on a Saturday afternoon. It was a good job Chaff had brought a ball along!
It’s probably a bit late in the day now, but would it be possible to add some sort of ‘Black Friday’ type sale of merchandise in the Ratcliffe for one of the upcoming games? ‘Buy two pints and get a scarf for a fiver’
It’s a good idea getting Bentley along, though turning it into a fans forum type event would probably have ensured at least 50-100 turning up. Many might have made other plans for Friday now but can’t this be sorted for the Wales game next week with members of the board? A forum from 6-7pm, then the game?
Or, even make it the official launch of the ‘Volunteer Army’ which was mentioned at the AGM last week. Invite fans along to view the plans already in place and sign up to help in areas where they can play a real part in moving the club forward. Any volunteer who signs up gets ‘Happy Hour’ prices for the first half or something.
Just a few ideas of the top of my head, but the ‘Volunteer Army’ one is probably the most inclusive and likely to have a longer term impact as well as increasing numbers attending to watch. |  |

The Iran game was always going to be quiet with it being in the middle of a work day. I'd expect it to be quite busy for Friday though. I know a fair few talking about popping down. The added incentive that EBJ will be there I think will sway some people. |  |

Agree with Chaff, Monday was always a stretch but Friday should be busier.
Does anyone have any idea what the drinks promos etc are? If they're decent that should help drive some footfall in.
Maybe too late now for Friday, but updating the season tickets for sale billboard on Sandy Lane, & advertising on the big digital billboards around the town, should be a given too. If we can build on the positivity and excitement from Monday's result then it should drive more people in on Friday & beyond. |  | | |
