It's seems a new fibre optic network is being installed at all clubs which will enable fans to watch midweek away matches in HD quality at their clubs.
So if dale had an away match at Torquay on a Tuesday you could come to the Radcliffe and watch in there.
Not sure how far we are along the line with this, but certainly interesting
They could have done with it for the trip to luton on Tuesday. Must have been heartbreaking conceding an injury time deflection to stop them winning, and then that long journey home...would have been much better in the pub.
It sounds like the first step towards Pay-Per-View. First you do it on a Closed Circuit. Then you make all games that can be broadcast (outside the 3pm Saturday blackout) available over the Internets for a one-off fee. Much like DalePlayer but with broken video instead of broken radio.
