Arsenal's main sponsors (Investors) apparently sponsoring the The FA Cup re-branding it The Emirates FA Cup surely this can be classed as conflict of interest

because they are involved with arsenal on a business basis surely this also jeopardizes arsenal's position in the competition I'm sure there are conflict of interest rules in place in the beautiful game unless Dyke has scrapped them like he's sold the fa cup to highest bidder

The FA is a business. Just like Arsenal FC is a business. They'll sell sponsorship rights to whoever can give them the most money, in this case that's Emirates.

Emirates have no influence over the outcome of football games, they're an airline.

There is no conflict of interest. It's just a sponsorship deal.

well why did Budweiser (Who were recent sponsors) have to get special permission from FA to be one non-league teams shirts during competition last year and this year before it just doesn't make sense!

Presumably the same for Emirates.

Permission was probably needed to authorise a one off sponsorship change for the kit. Don't know which clubs were involved, but I'd guess it was a club who gained TV coverage and thats why Budweiser got involved.

I always wondered the same when Auto Windscreens sponsored Derby and when Endsleigh sponsored Burnley.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?
