3rdODI 16:32 - Jun 19 with 1673 views | Nigeriamark | Anyone sneaking a look between the footie Mayhem at the moment 310 for 1 after 34. Bairstow and Hales on fire. Could be a great ........ Make that 310 for 2 as I type. Bairstiw out for 139. Having to bring in Butler early to get us back on track !!!

Finished 481 for 6. Record score by 37 runs, most boundries in an innings ( almost non in last 5 overs !!) fastest ever 50 by an England player, 2 more hit centuries in 61 and 62 balls I suppose it'll do

Add to that, only the third time there's been 3 century stands in a ODI No doubt the commentators will be decrying the standard of the Aussie team, as per usual when England show signs of success

Pretty sure that we are the only team ever in over 4000 odi’s to have first 5 partnerships over 50 (previous game) we are good but the Aussies are shockingly poor

3rdODI on 18:42 - Jun 19 with 1432 views | Dale92 | Opens up the debate of do we play hales if so where? Personally id take root out as he is test captian and we need him fully flying for them first of all. Morgan can do the job at 4 if we are 2 wickets down early. The bowling attack scares me though with woakes and stokes. Wood doesnt get enough wickets and neither does willey, i like plunkett cant understand why ball and overton etc get selected for tests ahead of him. If only we could play like this in test matches 😂😂

Can we not just praise our own team without countering it by saying the opposition aren't very good?

They are, but I'd rather concentrate on how good we are.

Tbh so would I. Even if they had the ball tamperers playing we would be far better, certainly at home. If you look at Roy, bairstow, hales, root, Morgan, buttler, Ali, they are all destructive in scoring runs. The “tail” is no real tail anymore, pluckett and willey can both bat, wood is ok as is rashid ok. Add stokes in then it’s possible the best batting line up In the history of world cricket, second to nothing. I see the bowling as ok, but if the batsmen perform then ok bowlers are fine.
