Not sure why Tom Cairney is in there based on this season (he was very good last season and has been far from that standard in terms of goals and assists this season in comparison) Freeman and quite a few other midfielders have outperformed him (stats wise at least).
John T*rry being in there also out of nowhere. Cardiff have conceded the least, and are 2nd but have no players in there; Warnock got the manager nod.
Nothing much new here, but is this another QPR influenced online poll?
There's a poll at the bottom of the article on "what should be the fate of QPR regards Finacial Fair Play?" Which is currently polling at 62% at "They have done nothing wrong and therefore should get off Scott free" . I don't even think we'd get that on a poll on here.
"Chelsea will move to sign QPR goalkeeper Robert Green, 35, in the summer as a replacement for 32-year-old Petr Cech, with the Czech Republic set to leave Stamford Bridge for £10m at the end of the season. (The Times - subscription required) "
"Leroy Fer reckons he will put himself through a brick wall - starting against Stoke on Saturday - to avoid a second demotion in a row." I'll be happy if you just lose the ball less and stop giving up on tracking back properly.
This bit worries me... they've only been saying "it" a couple of weeks.... "but we need a win away from home; and we’ve been saying it for a couple of weeks now."
"The Cobblers will receive an initial £65,500 and could earn up to a maximum of £1.3m in the future, depending on how many first-team games he plays."
"We always want to keep our best players, but under the EPPP if a player is wanted by a Premier League club then it is just about impossible for us to resist, given the processes set out as part of the EPPP."
I know its been mentioned before at the time the Premier League forced the EPPP through, but this still just seems wrong. We'd have got next to nothering for someone like Dean Parrett and not anywhere near the mooted deal for Raheem Sterling even though he's made first team appearances for Liverpool.
