| News Comment | Five star Foxes send QPR down with a whimper — report at 19:30:15
Thank you, Clive - as in Baghdad, gallows humour is what keeps us going. Still wondering what Fernandes meant when he said he'd found his dream manager: could he actually have been referring to Ramsey? |
| News Comment | Still just a potato — full match report at 10:10:32
Thank you, Clive, and hurray for Harriman. Interesting to note that the Daily Telegraph's nominations for the worst buy of the season included five QPR players: Boswinga, Diakite, Samba, Park and Graneiro - more, needless to say, than any other club |
| News Comment | Alan McDonald: 1963 — 2012 at 15:28:14
I love the fact that even after playing against England at Wembley in his second international, his greatest dream was still to play for Northern Ireland at Windsor Park: a measure of his immense loyalty |
| News Comment | Cisse’s late redemption takes it all down to the wire — report at 10:07:28
I suspect Hughes didn't start with Cisse for a very good reason - the longer he's on the pitch, the more likely he is to be sent off. But as caution won't achieve anything against Man City, I hope he'll be unleashed from the word go. |
| News Comment | Ambitious Hughes takes intriguing career move to QPR at 10:37:38
Mystified by these reports that Hughes has been promised a huge bonus for keeping us up. If he doesn't he'll have done a worse job than Warnock, so there won't have been any point in hiring him. |
| News Comment | Wednesday Diary — Cook out, but four could come in at 10:16:43
Very sad to see Martin Rowlands on the way out. He led the team by example when everything else was falling apart, and the fact that he sustained his injury as a Republic of Ireland international is a measure of his worth. |
| News Comment | QPR left inches from the Premiership — full match report at 20:45:56
One of the Cardiff fans said on their message board that if they were to finish ahead of us in the Championship, he'd like it to be on their own merits, not because we'd had points deducted. Similarly, I think that to have won promotion by an offside goal would have been an unfitting end to a great season. Let's hope we can do it fairly and squarely tomorrow. |
| News Comment | Mackie’s double fracture overshadows latest cup defeat — full match report at 22:36:46
Poor Mackie. Apparently Warnock was going to give him the day off, but he insisted that he wanted to play. And what a tragedy that Martin Rowlands had a hamstring injury and missed the opportunity to impress NW. But perhaps with so many others on the sick list he'll get his chance anyway. |
