All 3 promoted teams relegated from ten prem
at 17:04 11 May 2024

Well with Luton just loosing to West Ham (with Prowse getting on the scoresheet) that’s basically confirmed Luton are down with them being 3 points behind and having a worse goal difference than Forest by like 13.
Still makes you wonder of how next seasons promoted teams may fare in the prem, as well as if promotion out of the championship could be easier next season than it was this season if we didn’t win the playoffs.

WBA and Norwich
at 16:55 11 May 2024

Certainly agree with you on the form side of things as that does almost always seem to be the key factor, although with form we’re top/second to Norwich for the form guide, depending on how far back you look. As that’s the awkward thing about this seasons playoffs, all 4 teams are going in on iffy/poor form, with non being in their peak like we were over Christmas or Leeds at the start of the season.
But still it certainly should be an interesting one

AFC Totton Win Play Off Semi Final
at 21:43 10 May 2024

Well Totton have just taken Portchester to pens in the Hampshire senior cup final

Edit: just lost of pens again, makes you wonder if they’re the non league version of England

No chance, especially for a team like Juventus’s size!
As if we go up then we know he can score goals in the prem so could be very important for that matter, and if we don’t go up, then I wouldn’t of thought RM would still be around and I doubt many managers wouldn’t want him to pick from for next season.
As unless anyone buys basically any of the half decent players currently on loan/looking like they could head out, then we should just keep them. As the only players that should be going out on loans are the poor ones we don’t want (like Mara) or some of the younger promising players to get them some more game time.

I mean Adams has 7, Broja 6, so I don’t exactly see what you’re reading there?…

Edit: and if your on about including the cups, people weren’t talking about cups before when they said how he’d only scored like 3 goals since leaving us and how Adams had gotten 7.

Play-offs - physical approach and shithousery
at 16:42 10 May 2024

Yeah well we certainly want a bit of shithousery, especially in the semi’s as those won’t have VAR, unfortunately the same of which can’t be said about the final

But he wasn’t second, Che was, Broja was 3rd behind both Prowse and Adams…

Big weekend for Southampton boxers
at 16:38 10 May 2024

Well the big fights next weekend, but I’m still waiting for Fury to bottle it and make up some lame excuse to pulling out of the Usyk fight like usual! Still hopefully it’ll go ahead and Usyk will wipe the floor with him

And what facts are they!? 😂
As you’ve just gone on about how bad our strikers were since, which is rather down to poor recruitment and shows how poor everything’s been since then, rather than how “good” broja was.

Whilst you and paul are the ones that were saying he was better than Che that season yet the stats have proven otherwise, yet you can’t seem to except this somehow. So just the usual stubborn fan that can’t except facts when it’s against their opinions

Well if you don’t know what a total amount of goals are or a players average goals per game then I do think you may wanna be heading back to school to retake your maths tests, as this ain’t exactly that advanced…

And well it’s usually the facts that are backed by evidence which are the serious arguments, not just the waffle you guys have spouting out, but still it’s quite amusing that you’ve tried arguing with the facts

Team for Sunday
at 17:34 9 May 2024

Presuming Che is back and playing, who’d everyone pick for their starting 11 for Sunday and would people take a draw for this away leg, or does anyone expect a win?

Their goals, assists, average ratings or goals/assists per game all showed Che was better outta the two of them all season.

And anyway when did I talk about the future or potential? As I think you’ll find I was on about that season, not next, and even then if Che goes to Wolves (which is where he’s rumoured to be heading) whilst Broja joins one of the promoted sides, then I think your clue may be a tad off there

Don’t need to as the facts prove it all, which is something that you can try and get around, but even you can’t deny. Still the fact your trying to, just shows of just how overrated he was and proves my points even more…

Yeah but I think there’s only about a hundred left, all in poor places, so at least with the membership you could get a ticket for yourself and others all in decent spots

Yeah I will agree that he had potential and could’ve been one for the future, but the fact is that we’ve also seen that from many players we’ve had over the years here, but I don’t think many have had as much attention or praise as he got that season. As people were acting like he was Ings’s level, and was a perfect replacement for him, which is just complete nonsense.
And Chelsea putting up a price tag for £50m only proves even more how overrated he was, as he was worth like half that at max, after the season he had with us, yet the fact that they expected teams to pay double says it all. But either way the fact that no teams did come in for him and how poor he’s been ever since going also proves that he really just wasn’t as good as many made him out to be

And if you think that for that season Broja was better than Che, then I’d suggest you start looking at facts rather than whatever it is that’s going on in your head.
As Che had more goals, assists and higher goals or assists per minute ratios than Broja did, yet one many were disappointed with the other everyone acted like was our new Ings.

As that’s not to say that Che was some world class striker or anywhere near Ings’s level, but for that season individually, he was better than Broja and the stats prove it from every aspect. Yet the fact that yourself and many all seem to think that Broja was great that season really is baffling. As the stats prove otherwise, and that’s something you can’t argue with

And exactly how many took him from Chelsea for that price? As there’s a reason why there wasn’t any major transfer battles for him, which makes senses if that really was the price that he was put out as. And is exactly why he’s had minimal goals, playing time or interest ever since, as he’s just not as good as many make out, which the basic stats prove.

So I would suggest looking at the stance other teams have taken around Broja, before blindly looking at just one teams, who have been quite famed recently for being appalling in their recent transfer business. As it’s no coincidence that nobody has paid or put forward any significant fees for him, as he’s not been that good anywhere he’s been.

And out of all those players you named how many were really that rated by our fanbases? As with maybe the exception to Salisu, none of the players you’ve named there were that highlight rated by our fanbase, so can’t be overrated if they weren’t rated in the first place…
And when we look at quality, well like Nick said, Che get more goals than Broja, yet he got very little praise for that, and for how they performed for the positions they played, I’d also argue that Salisu was better than him that season.

As outta the players you’ve listed there, none are overrated whatsoever as minimal rated them in the first place, which is exactly where Broja should also be

Well I sure hope we don’t, as he’s gotta be by far one of the most overrated players we’ve had in years!
