AFC Totton Take On Hendon At The Snows Stadium On Saturday
Friday, 8th Sep 2023 07:45

After their rousing FA Cup victory against local rivals Sholing, next up for the Stags as they push for promotion to the National League North is a home game against Hendon at the Snows Stadium.

Hendon are the visitors to Totton on Saturday afternoon and the International break is an ideal opportunity to take in one of our local sides as the Stags take on Hendon.

AFC Totton have brought up some interesting facts about what is the first meeting between the two clubs, including the fact that ex Saints striker Iain Dowie played for Hendon between 1986-88, before joining Luton Town, West Ham United and then Southampton in 1991.

Totton who sit in 5th place are looking for a victory that could take them within spitting distance of early leaders Chesham United & Merthyr Town, whilst 16th place Hendon look to consolidate a mid table position.

A good game is in prospect if last weeks 5-1 win over local rivals Sholing is anything to go by.

Tickets can be bought in advance via AFC Totton or are available on the gate.

The Snows Stadium is a modern football ground with terracing on all four sides as well as a covered stand on each side, with two bars and refreshments available it is a true football experience.

The Snows Stadium is situated on Salisbury Road in Totton just by the Calmore Roundabout, free car parking is available on the Calmore industrial Estate just a two minute walk from the ground .
