Deserves his own thread to congratulate him getting into the England squad.

Well done, Jonjo. Proved the doubters wrong, including myself, and one of my fav players now. Have a feeling he'll be here for a while yet, too.

"Have a feeling he'll be here for a while yet, too."

As long as ex-Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson is there, I agree.

Contain himself about what?

I want a mate like Flashberryjacks, who wears a Barnsley jersey with "Swans are my second team" on the back.

No, but that was recorded the other day, before he got his call up. What were you expecting him to do?

Does Jonjo have a song yet? Living overseas, I don't get to many games these days, but he definitely deserves one.

I got mocked on here when i said that he would be a Future Swansea Great not long after we signed him. I loved Tate for being Tate back all those years ago, and Shelvey has the same likeable qualities about him, no matter his ability.

Ditto, J.I was one of the few who welcomed him on here when he first signed. He just needed a club where he'd play week in week out and with Gerrard at Liverpool it was never gonna happen.

Well done to him. He can be a really good player when he keeps his discipline.

Let's hope he kicks on from here.

I feel I'm very fair with Jonjo.

When he keeps his discipline, isn't fouling players every minute, isn't attempting a 60 yard pass every time and isn't trying to take on players 20 yards from our goal he's a good player.

Unfortunately he rarely does all of the above in a match. When he does we usually do well.

The phrase "damning with faint praise" comes to mind but hey you're entitled to your opinion and indeed what player can't improve their game. Jonjo has and I'm sure he'll continue to do so.
