oh - I know that it was, but it doesn't change the fact that some on here will take advantage and we'll have to all suffer it.
I'm sure that we all sat there laughing at Fools & Horses, or Are You Being served or Steptoe or whatever. There's a good reason why they don't show this stuff now though and I bet that Ronnie Corbett wouldn't do the same thing today (difficult for Ronnie Barker to do it of course).

I saw Roy Walker of Catchphrase fame on a cruise earlier this year. He told a story of when he did an audition for The Comedians many years ago, when TV was not PC at all. He told a joke them a joke about homosexual Jewish men, only to be told by the PA that the two men hosting the audition were both homosexual and Jewish. He thought he'd blown it. He was contacted a short while after to say he had been successful. The two guys told him they had loved all his material. Different times, which I am in general happy about, as I don't condone any racist, bigoted behaviour in this more enlightened time.

So basicaly you are saying that by having a opinions makes me stupid? Then what does that make u? If I have any opinion on a subject who gives u the right to class someone as stupid. I belive that ideots who come out with such drivel like its racist to make a comment should stop and think about there remarks. There are certainly words that are racist, but to be classed racist for saying someone is coloured is ridiculous as they are clearly not black.
