Factually not true. Look up his playing stats while here, an injury hit 2nd season but still played games.

To be fair after Monk took over his fitness improved quite noticeably. Not quick enough for the wing now but on the no.10 position his speed of thought could sometimes be breathtaking. I miss him |  |

He wouldn't have played for us had he not been injury prone and consistent, he'd still be at a top club playing in the champions league and probably still in his national team set up. [Post edited 28 Jan 2015 13:49]
