I can't. There's no way anyone can go for a drink at half time, return to seat, check drink, return to till and get served again. You'd need at least 30-40 minutes for that. Some people in the north are queuing for the whole of half time and beyond for a cup of tea (after leaving seat at 40 mins). |  | | |

Don't use proper goals to protect the penalty area that's why at most grounds these days when players warm up and practice shooting they use side pitch with another set goals | | | |

since moving to the south stand I really don't touch that slop they call beer, especially when I have to pay £3.40 for a 440ml can of worthy! they cannot even get it on Draught! It's daylight robbery! But I guess someone has to subsidise leigh dineens diet! |  |

I don't suppose the club will change the dull-as-ditchwater half time 'entertainment' any time soon, it's all part of the mascot 'experience' for which the long suffering parents have forked out £400 or something.
As to the over-priced slop served up at the concession stalls, why anyone would queue up to be ripped off and served bilge is something I can only speculate about.
Having a bite to eat in Rossi's, or the corner shop or pie shop near the Globe, then a pint or two with mates, is an essential part of the match day experience for me, but I've done with troughing by the time the match comes around. I'm there for the football. If you can't control your appetite for two hours, you need to see a doctor or a psychiatrist. |  | | |
