It's my understanding that very few proper native dishes are. Wasn't curry more or less invented to suit the palate of British soldiers of The Raj, to try and disguise the poor quality of the meat? | |

Indeed, mostly true that. I've had some fine fish and chicken dishes on the Asian sub continent that bare no resemblance to a curry whatsoever. Now the Delhi belly is another story and it's almost impossible to stay clear of contaminated water, some do develop a degree of immunity to it though. | |

Best thing to do is do it online, it takes not a long time at all. You can pay on line too. Send the photos they require in the post and it's done. Mine took five days to come back. No need to go to the post office at all. The checks are done as you go through it on line,

Yes, once seen a tv programme about it....The meat was rotting, so they added spices to camouflage the smell. | |
