The Sherriff has been applauded for not saying the losers name as that is what the sick prick wanted was notoriety. The same with that sick skull faced asshole that went into the school in Sandy Hook and wiped out twenty children. His guns were bought legally, so please can the NRA stop defending the indefensible of the losers having access to multiple weapons or will they continue to cheer at every massacre?

If nothing else, then surely they need to look at a system of central registration (US wide) linked to social security number and start investigating anyone with over a certain number of hand guns? Look at their social media activity and so on - in other words, treat them in the sam way as they would treat Moslems in the same situation - as 'people of interest'.

I agree Lisa, but the fecktards at the NRA want losers like the shooter to have as many firearms as they can! The NRA have resisted any sensible firearms measures and in their warped minds the more guns the better. Most NRA members would welcome gun regulations, I live in a rural location and the people have rifles around here for hunting and handguns for protection and that is understandable, but to have assault rifles, multiple pistols and have enough ammo to start a minor war is mind boggling! You are fighting at the top of that organization a mindset and institutionalised paranoia that is scary, they honestly think any gun control measures will mean the government taking away their precious weapons and the right to own a gun.

I completely agree with what you posted above Perch.
It has been released that the shooter had 14 guns. No one under the age of 25 should have access to that many weapons, it should be limited to 2 guns and a limited amount of ammo. Unfourtunatly that would mean taking away weapons from people in that age range, which would play into the NRA's hands who would quite legitimately say that the government was taking guns away from American citizens.
No offence to any American but if you cannot grasp that, you deserve all these tragedies as you can stop it right now by handing in your weapons.. you really don't need them.. No hunting, no shooting harmless birds, helpless animals.

They're a massive multi million dollar organisation. Of course they'll have some sort of massive headquarters somewhere. And it'll be mostly offices so they won't all be walking around armed to the teeth.
