Season Ticket Renewals 2016/17 05:16 - Jan 8 with 2627 viewsbonymine

Just out of curiosity I wonder how many season ticket holders have renewed as of 31st December 2015 compared to 12 months ago ?

I guess a fair proportion will be waiting to see how our results go in Jan/Feb before committing for next season and whether it is likely to be Premier League or Championship football ?

Be interesting to gauge the level of support/confidence within our core fan base though if the figures were made available ?

I have renewed x 2, why would I not. I have supported before the Premier League and will do so after, if it happens.

I've renewed mine. Bought my first season before the heady premier league days and will continue to do so. I'm sure there will be some who will wait though.

We shouldn't all be tarred with the same brush you know!

I haven't, though I never do until the last minute. I will be renewing regardless, I'm confident we will be a PL team next season though

Renewed our 3 in December..... no question we wouldn't. Watching the Swans is in our DNA regardless of what league we play in.

I haven't renewed yet. I am waiting to see if we are in the championship first, I never had a season ticket then & just went to every game. Currently I have to sit on my own because the people I go with can't afford the Season Ticket, if we go down it means i'll hopefully just be able to buy a ticket for every game & then have people come with me.

I have not yet, having building work done on house at beginning of February. Hoping the damage to my bank balance will leave enough left to renew. But things like Kodi softens the blow if you don't renew, watching games in HD on 3:00pm on a Saturday for FREE!(providing we don't get relegated). I did renew in December last year, so I am two statistics down for the Swans sales wise.

I never renew my season tickets until March because, being self-employed, there is too much other expenditure to worry about at this time of year. But renew I most certainly will, whatever division we are in next season. STID, after all!

Yep renewed - next season will be my 31st season as a season ticket holder (if my sums are right). Bearing in mind I'm 36 in a few months, that's not too bad. God knows how long my father's had a season ticket. He's been a regular since he was 16 and he's pushing 70! For what it's worth I'm confident that next season will be yet another Premier League campaign.

Have we advertised more this year, or is that my imagination? I wondered whether it was indicative that take-up was slower than usual. There were still tickets available for the one of the biggest games of the season (so far) the other day, Sunderland next week. You'd hope it'd sell out, massive game.

How many season ticket holders did we have in the Championship? I think crowds averaged somewhere around 16,000, but not sure how many were sold on a game by game basis. I don't think we would be too far off selling out the home ends most week. Surely there would be some who have got involved the last few years and would stick with it?

This says we averaged 15k, http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-championship-2010-2011/1/, although, I imagine that may have been boosted by the big crowds we had towards the end of the season for games like Norwich etc. Regularly around the 14k mark. Hopefully, we'll have developed a bigger fanbase from our time in the limelight and they're not all fair-weather fans

Four of us have.

Whilst it would be ridiculous to say I don't care if we go down of course I do, but I enjoyed the Championship years more than any. Now it seems more squeaky bum games praying to survive.

As far as I'm concerned if we go down (hope we don't) it won't be the end of the world. Yes I will be there next season- come what may.
