Nobody knows what the situation in camp is overall, so it's not worth second guessing. I'd say that we should all have some serious affection for this polite man that has behaved so honourably*, perhaps unlike some of the slippery jokers he has had to deal with.

Unless FG has been kept in the loop i would find this news to be totally classless if true.
A guy who stepped in to save us and did so with plenty to spare booted out to be replaced by the guy who sh1t out of the challenge when presented with it himself.
I honestly think this could wind up a lot of the jack faithful if true, not many will be buying into Rodgers bulls1ht 2 nd tie around and most will think his lack of backbone when we needed help is just exposing his lack of true integrity,something alreadt confirmed by many when he let his mate Pascoe take the fall at Liverpool this season.
