My thoughts on this are ,joe was on his way here before the euros for the 8 mil ,then he had a good euros with Ramsey in the side and along came Stoke and maybe others the price rocketed and we said no the min we signed fer .in all honesty as much as I like the work rate of joe he looked good with Ramsey but once he wasn't there joe returned to type ,back back side side side back forward back side ,joe has very few killer passes doesn't score can't head a ball and if he can't steal the ball of someone's toes generally gets pushed off the ball or commits a foul ,he's also no free kick expert ,are we really missing out at 13 mil I wonder? |

It's true though.. His market value is 7-8 million on current statistics.. those statistics are nowhere near his 60k a week price tag, and that's why Klopp didn't favour him..
he's a decent asset for 8 million and 30-40k a week.. which is what someone with his statistical attributes earns.. Nabil Bentaleb.. 8 million, 30-40k a week, 21 years old.. same statistics.
that's a signing that's value for money..
not 13 million, 75k a week 5 year contract, possibly inflated add ons an all. |
