It almost worked for Guido today I must admit when I saw the line up I did wonder but at times we made Man City look ordinary and ifs and buts had once of these chances early in the second half gone in it may have been different.

Have to disagree about Sousa. Football wasn't great, but he made the most of what he had available to him, he tightened us up at the back, made us hard to beat and ground out results which I think provided some of the foundation for the success which came afterwards. can't comment on him though as I never met him.
Personally, I think Guido is a better manager than GM, (have a read of his Wikipedia page) but as you say, there were a lot worse than him in the 90's. | | | |
