A town centre that in general we could be proud of and was relatively thriving
Big stores like the Coop, David Evans, Woolworths, Debenham.
As someone mentioned earlier, walking miles with your mates to a match, or round the pubs or prior to that, hanging around near the off licence and sending your oldest looking mate in to buy cider then sharing one bottle between you
Dylan had it right - our ugly, lovely city.

It also didn’t matter the centre of town was ugly/ mismatch /concrete and illplaned .
What defined Swansea was its people and the industrial heritage
