He might have a bit of a shock at the step up but it looks as if he likes have ball to feet and if he is clever enough he will learn when to use it and when to lay off don't want to see hopeful flicks when in tight spots.
Will see if Williams set up leads us into blind alleys in the middle of the park instead of getting the ball out wide quickly with supporting options going forward.to stretch defenses leaving room in the middle for him to operate.

In fairness there are some bargains in Lidl. You’ve just got to know where!

I am encouraged by the names being linked so far. Not so much for the players themselves, but for the positions that they play.

It does suggest that those responsible are fully aware of where our weaknesses are. Creative, preferably pacy options in the final third are a must.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Some bargains to be had in the middle aisle

That’s a weird headline and article. Williams’ words don’t even make sense. Going from a ‘frenzy’ to ‘only if the shoe fits’. I think we might need to get used to Williams’ random comments and press conference comments regardless of how he does on the pitch.

How many times have we been down this transfer window path, with lots of supposed targets, and names being bandied about?
Then you start thinking, yeah he would be good, wouldn’t mind him he could do a job, I wonder if we could get him? Ect.
Only to be totally disillusioned when the window closes, with the owners saying “We tried our best, but they just didn’t want to come, or they didn’t want to bankrupt the club, we have to be sustainable blah dee blah.
History tells me that Until a player is photographed holding the shirt, I won’t believe a word they are saying.
But this time it’s going to different, innit?

Can't be on a downer all the time, at the end of the last xfer window even with the loss of Piroe and Ntcham there were signs of some nice signing Key and Ashby for the right hand side, Ginnelly, a couple of left sided players Humpreys in the defence , a couple of forwards in Kuharevich and Yates

Could we have expected the number of injuries and Duff's total turn around in playing styles going from one extreme to another.
Sheehan showed that games can be won and points can be grabbed in this Championdhip league if we play to our strengths and use our youth setup correctly.
We have a new manager hopefully he can continue that upturn in preformances.
Don't expect too much in this transfer window it is notoriously unpredictable but new mangers always attract different players so fingers crossed he can get at least one or two in to strengthen the squad in the long term instead of relying of so many stop gap loanees
Chin up there must be a ray of sunshine out there😎

Kuharevich, is a good way off from being a regular is the opinion I read.

On top of that we have suffered some terrible injury issues with players who were proving to be influential on the pitch, so that needs addressing for the future, whether that be closer monitoring of the susceptible players, or modifying the training pattern's.

I'm sure that all in hand though, not sure if that'll work with Walshie though unfortunately, Key is another player who seems to pick up injuries regularly, that may be done to bringing him back to soon or the fact that he's still young!

Hot air
I'm believing Luke full of this
He seems a younger version of Russ
He speaks the same
He loves the city club fans and the stadium cat too
Love to be proven wrong
Brim on a terrible run come back twice and he's not angry

First half was Deja vu

It was his first game mun, I'm sure he's seen positives along with the negatives, he's got a lot to do, but he'll work through it and hopefully figure it all out, we can't be dismissing him after one game, surely?

The proof of his managerial acumen at this level will come with time not with a couple of games. 3 and 1/2 year contract but couple of months to find his feet and learn to get the best of the players at his disposal.
And hope he learns from his mistakes, if he finds a winning team and tactic don't over think things.
