The time lapsed video shows a lot of progress with ground works making good progress upto to week 29 then after that the election of all the steel from werks 30 to 40.
It is part of the Swansea Bay development fund which is financed from three main sources
Private investment and industry £591 million.
UK and Welsh Government funding £235 million.

If things go as publicised, it will could have a really positive impact on South West Wales.
What puzzles me is the fact there’ve previously been significant challenges/restrictions imposed on developments in the Lougher Estuary area on account of pollutants (possibly phosphates) being discharged, but this scheme is going ahead and it’s much much bigger than some of the developments I know which have really struggled to get permission. It may be there’s a new waste water facility included in the scheme, but I don’t know for sure. | | | |
