Support the farmers 11:50 - Jan 31 with 1583 viewsmangohilljack

3 times a day for the rest of your life you'll need the help of a farmer.
once a month maybe once a quarter we see a doctor or a dentist.
Never forget they are a very important part of the system of life

Remember these:

1960's - Oil gone in 10 years
1970's - Another ice Age in 10 years
1980's - Acid rain will destroy all crops in 10 years
1990's - The ozone layer will be gone in 10 years
2000 - Ice caps will be gone in 10 years

So what happened? None of it
BUT
of course all resulted in more taxes.

Awake yet?

Geological exploration (science) found more oil.

There was no scientific consensus that claimed we'd have a another ice age in 10 years.

Atmospheric pollution regulation significantly reduced acid rain.

We banned cfc's to stop ozone layer depletion.

No scientific consensus that the ice caps will be gone in 10 years, they are clearly reducing. Exactly as predicted.

Is this really all you've got?

The ozone layer is probably the clearest one.

Scientific knowledge made a huge impact. No aerosols with cfcs any more.

Dom Joly was on radio two this morning talking about conspiracy theorists - very interesting.

He’s a book out that looks like a good read.

Unless he’s been got at by the illuminati or something.

As I said before I've more than likely forgotten more than you know.

Yes I remember A fans dad used to come on and ruin you with ease, all you do is regurgitate the same old rubbish that the main stream media ramble on about and link it as if it is the truth.

Oh and farming has NO material effect on climate change whatsoever

there will be a big awakening for you coming soon, big year 2024 ...enjoy

What an arrogant and asinine post. You have no idea how much Scotia knows and how do we prove any claims?

Farming has no materil effect you say? What about the dead zone in the Baltic sea caused by run off from agricultural fertilisers and pesticides? Killing the seas causes massive problems.

https://www.nationalgeographic.com/environment/article/dead-zones#:~:text=A%2020

What about pesticides that kill off insects and is at least largely responsible for the decline in bees, with that decline comes a decline in plant diversity and a massive effect on the climate.

https://www.sciencealert.com/we-really-might-be-killing-our-bees-according-to-ne

I eagerly await the expected response about how the media I got those links from are liars and in league with the....well, all the people you claim are doing vewy nawty tings and we are all brainwashed.
