I shouldn’t really comment on this topic as I don’t know enough about it but doesn’t it come down to losses made. I would imagine that Man City and the like can massage the books by having inputs from wealthy owners so they don’t show a substantial loss. But as I said… |  |

Didn't the owners (or friends of the owners) buy the stadium naming rights for some crazy amount of money, which they will pay in instalments, so this will offset any losses, if and when they need to. |  |
