Gutted absolutely gutted, not enough going forward with Moore starting, no dynamism like we had going forward against Finland, Brooksy was clearly unfit and we missed him starting, him and Jordan James were superb together last week, massive shame after such a great opportunity and now its another massive rebuild with the age of some of the players, especially Ben Davies who was awesome tonight, he's 31, Moore about the same Wilson 28, Brooks 27ish.

The common idea of taking a penalty is slam it hard as you can centre goal area . my then appalling efforts to score that spot kick , did work on occasions .
Neither goalie had to make a save tonight until that last kick , Dan James in the headlights .
Alas it was a poor kick , pressure and Team result must have played a part .
Nod to Joe Rodon and Ben Davies , immense tonight .
Keiffer Moore seems to be the new scapegoat , thought he tried his best , unfair on him .

Two very evenly matched sides that was a heartbreaking way to lose. We couldn’t create the spaces and chances tonight. Poland disrupted our rhythm so well and also stopped wing backs Roberts and Williams from being so influential.
Just not to be tonight. The Moore header well saved. Davies 12’’ offside when he scored. Brooks unwell/unfit. James penalty wasn’t the best but well saved. We defended so well. Mepham Rodon Davies shackled Lewandowski although at 35 he’s not the player he was.
The future looks bright though. Page has done a reasonable job. He’s passionate, popular with the players and staff so he deserves another chance. I’m not convinced he’s the best man for the job but we can’t attract the best. Therein lies our predicament. | |
