These rules were brought in after the Hillsborough disaster arising from the Taylor report. Mass refusal to follow stadium rules is highly dangerous and can lead to the loss of life. |  |

Nothing silly at all really.
Even a cursory look at the more “ significant” clubs shows fans simply standing and watching the game .

At most away games I go to nowadays our young singers etc go to the back and stand throughout the match and us older fans stay down near the front and sit. Very rarely are there any issues and more often than not stewards have a laugh and a joke with you. Unfortunately it would appear that Swansea City are employing stewards from other towns that are brought in to do a job and have no affinity with local supporters. | | | |
