Not sure you could say that "no harm was meant" but it was a product of his time. As I understand it, a warning (for want of a better word) has been put on some video streaming site or either saying that the cartoons may contain some racial stereotyping that was prevalent back then. Seems fair enough to me. Some parents may not want to expose their kids to that kind of imagery, at least without the opportunity to give it some context for their kids.
That said, it's only a cartoon and a bloody good one at that. |  |
