Yep, we've got quite a few years of this left as well. I can't remember how long they reckoned it would be before Wembley broke even, but it was a while. And then of course there's no guarantee they will go back to club grounds afterwards.
It was no competition for me yesterday though - I only had the radio, but it was FA cup all the way for me. Still like the cup me. |  | | |

Weren't they on about playing them at the Mill Stad at one point or am I making that up?
It would probably be ideal as it's the next biggest UK ground other than Old Trafford and Tickenham.
Also I am sure Club Wembley take a huge cut of the seating for the semis. Each club has just short of 32k, so 26k seats left over between Club Wembley and sponsors etc and 6k of those were empty yesterday.
Shocking that for the final each team only gets about 25k tickets really. [Post edited 19 Apr 2015 12:22]

Not for me. Wembley's a far better stadium than the Mill Stad with a much better atmosphere and facilities. Location is a bit crap but that's about the only drawback. Each to their own though, as you said. | |
