What's the rough monthly cost... on 18:22 - Oct 6 by Darran
Out of the world fair play Tom.
Ever since my son was... never conceived, because I've never had consensual sex without money involved... I've always kind of looked at you as... a thing, that I could live next to... in accordance with state laws.

Innit! Legalised fecking theft.
Correct.
Mortgage.
From the French 'mort' - deriving from mortal. And the French 'gage' meaning agreement.
So, agreement until death, or 'death pledge.'
Amazes me we don't question the fact that we need to 'pay' to live on our own planet. Particularly usurious interest on a fiat currency backed by nothing. Nada. Zip.
Freedom eh.
Or is it just me...

Just to let you know what robbing bar stards bankers are.
I did a remortgage last year. I had 70k and was charged 1k for the privilege. I have repaid 8k and I have just redeemed the mortgage and the redemption figure was 70,300.
That figure included a charge of £151 for cashback (absolutely no idea) and account charge of £250 for who knows what.
Mortgage Bankers, truly what a bunch.

Also after completion, this months direct debit was also taken.
What a bunch.
Legal theft. It's the best kind.
I wonder at what point in history did we become a nation of indentured servants. Was it gradual, was there a specific year, or is this simply the evolution of feudalism?

Fantastic.
National debts eh, what a scam.
Ours dates back to 1694, the birth of the Bank of England and the privatisation of our monetary system. Privately owned monetary system. Can't quite comprehend that.
The Bank of England was apparently nationalised in 1946. Huzzah! Except, except....the damage had been done over the centuries and now (circa 2014) we are paying £1 billion per week (PER WEEK?!?!) interest on our deliberately contrived national debt. On an initial loan of £1200000. Bargain. When, as a sovereign nation, we could issue our own debt free money. But, there's no profit in that.
I don't see why it's so important for people to own their own homes or especially why people feel they have a right to own or a right to buy? If you want to, and can afford it great - even as an investment, no problem with that, but if you can't afford it don't do it. As a nation we seem hung up on this.
