The owners need to realise that you don't get league points for winning stand offs with other clubs. Sometimes you need to compromise and do it quickly to progress on and off the pitch. By all means don't be a push over, but there has to be a balance. |  | | |

Well said Keith, unfortunately many of our fan base do not appreciate this.....The Americans interest is purely a business transaction unlike our previous ownership who were fans ....the days of the likes of Struel,Dougie Sharpe and the "sellouts" are long gone.....most club ownership is not as engaged with the clubs as the like of those and therefore decisions are mainly made with pure fiscal reasoning but as you say folks are welcome to their opinion but "tightwads" they are not.
As I posted elsewhere how do folks feel about all the season ticket holders puttin in about £3K then at the clubs last financial year have to shell out around £1K each to keep us afloat? | |

The previous ownership were not all fans. Two were 'venture capitalists ' a Frenchman and a South African. Another was more interested in rugby. All were happy to sell their shares and make profits except the Trust.
