We play insipid football, I still only see flashes of what he’s trying to do and he gets out thought every week.

Can you see any progress at the moment. All I can see is a manager not getting the best out of his players and being continually out thought by opposing mangers. To say the Cardiff game is just another game is foolish at best. Yes he needs time but he is not helping himself. We normally employ decent managers and they move on to better jobs, the clue may be in the name for this one, has our luck run out. | |

I started to get concerned when he was pushed about transfer's in and out. He said it's " just about money, players play for us until they and the club get a better offer ". This is mostly true but not the whole story, there are human elements that affect the margin, I'm sure players would prefer to play for Michael Laudrup than Bob Bradley. Some would take starting every week over a small payrise and not playing, some players do have affinity for others, some players are interested in improving etc.
I was 50/50 on Martin, but he did have the sense to use the Derby as motivation for his team. [Post edited 2 Sep 2023 18:33]

No he's trying to cover his backside for the possibility that we lose. I'm hoping yesterday's signings have the quality to turn this around. If not he won't last 20 games. Bottom 3 after 12 and in my opinion he will be walking the tightrope game by game. | |

I like his enthusiasm and determination.
