Wales U21 international Joel made his 12th and final appearance for the club on Saturday, coming off the bench in our 3-1 win over Walsall at Edgeley Park.

The 19-year-old scored his first professional goal during his time with the club, finding the back of the net from long range in our 8-0 win over Sutton United last month.

We’d like to thank Joel for his efforts during his time at Edgeley Park, in what was his first loan spell. We wish him all the best in what we’re sure will be a successful career in the game.

He has least got some 12 games on his CV and 6 month senior training and now clearly knows he will have to graft to get a long career at a high level.
