Now the, IMHO over rated Walcott is out, Roy is going to have to look for another winger.
Maybe, just maybe with all the Internationals we have possibly going/ going to the World cup already, Routs or Nath may have a chance.

Where did you get those stats from? they look wrong to me. And if we were to go on Prem alone that would argue more in my favour. Think he has had 1 or 2 assists and no goals. Think he may have had better games against the lower teams from the cups we have played.

Just think Routledge is garbage. For a player to be plying his trade in the prem who cant use his left foot is astonishing! I ate my words a bit on Sunday but he was the last person i would want that ball to drop in front of. He has good games but equally he has some shit games, not worthy of a place in my opinion.

Personally I think Routs (and Nath for that matter compared to say Pablo..) do a good job defensively,track back well and offer cover, as for players going past with ease,well if that never happened I guess he would be A- a defender and B- the only winger ever who never had an opposing player go past him.....

I would have agreed with you about Walcott being overrated until I read something yesterday:
12/13 season:
Walcott - 27 (10) appearances - 21 goals - 15 assists
Bale - 42 appearances - 24 goals - 8 assists.
Food for thought.
As for Routs and Nath for England, they have absolutely no chance. Don't play for a big club and don't have youth on their side, Hodgson is far too conservative to even look at them. |  |
