Not that it makes a damn bit of difference, but just a point of interest

Last years relegated teams after 24 games (think I have totted up correctly)

Reading 20 pts ended on 36
Wigan 17 pts ended on 28
QPR 16 pts ended on 25

Safety last year was 37 all sides are ahead at the moment so I reckon we are looking about 40 for safety.

If we had played last seasons games in this seasons order, but still achieved the same results, we would have had 25 points at this stage last season.
The reality is huge swathes of our support would have shat their pants a whole year earlier and Laudrup would have been sacked last summer. Now do you suppose wed be better off now if that had happened?
