Time for the remaining squad to step it up 21:31 - Aug 31 with 684 viewsJackfath

With some very tough games up next, let's all hope that the remaining squad now put in some decent performances. Do that against the top teams and I'm sure we will pick up points against the "lesser" teams in the coming months.

Onwards and upwards.

Which is what we've always done Fathy. We're so used to being the underdog that we cling to it. But we're not that bad. Montero and Barrow have continued to tear fullbacks apart, we've been better to watch since the turn of the year, we've a new record signing to look forward to. We'll have less offsides. Siggy will be back to his best in a few weeks and in the meantime Fer's winning us games. Could be worse.

Our remaining squad are gettingvold now and dought yhey can get it up let alone step.
Roughts dyer should not be in the starting linr up
They helped us in to the prem and still they are first team players
We have not moved on
Barrow looks good but being thrown in
Montero hot and cold
Kia looks lost we still have rangel as replacement and Taylor is usless.
Old striker as replacement britton still active and rely on
Cork gives the ball away to much.
So who is it that u refer to to step up.
We have had 3 disastrous last transfer windows
Last summer jan and this
Thats 3 were we aint added the same or better to the squad
The main players we signed the last 2 have gone
We are weaker then a shit ladt season.

Totally agree that the squad now has to stand up, some players more than others.

In terms of the old guard we only have Routledge and Britton as starters at the moment (when not injured). Since being promoted to the PL most of the first team has changed, with the likes of Williams, Allen, Sinclair, Monk, etc. moving on / retiring.

Leon we need playing to ensure we employ our passing "out of the back" game as effectively as possible, but Routs does need to be rested given his current form. I guess FG is playing him due to his tracking back in the early part of a game and then bringing on Montero to have a go in the final quarter.

We need to get Baston on the field, Siggy back to form, the remainder of the midfield employing an effective passing game and the defence must stop conceding stupid goals ! Need to see this happening as soon as possible with Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal coming up in the next 5 PL games; we don't want to be losing all of these !!

C'mon Bony shoot !!!!
