Written by Shel Silverstein.
A friend, and fellow Swans fan, was a member of Ray Sawyer's sound crew whenever he played Europe.
Apart from 1 song, I didn’t really know a great deal about Dr Hook until I started work, one of the guys would rave about them and sing their songs all day. They seemed to be a right bunch of characters and party animals, in some of their old videos they look off it. One of their albums is called “Sloppy Seconds”. They went bust in the mid 70s despite being on tour all the time. Sawyer and co have left us with some great music though.
