News

(.......Continued From Above)

Transfer listed Jason Price is set to return after a knock on his knee meant he missed the god awful defeat at Bournemouth, so hopefully we can get something going down the wing, and hopefully he'll win us some penalties because at the moment it's the only way were going to score. With Price back it's likely that another possible transfer listee Stu Roberts will switch back to the left wing. I hate myself for saying this but were missing Coates down the left flank!

At God last however we will see the return of Mat Bound into our leaking defence that was so impressive last season. Boundy has been sidelined for a month after picking up a red card for lashing out at a Oxford Utd player. Savarese should have recovered from the slight knock that kept him on the bench against the Cherries.

I know I'm being pessimistic but given our form and Wycombe's excellent FA Cup result against Millwall during the week it ain't looking good!

Wycombe News

TEAM NEWS

Striker, Andy Baird who has been out for almost three months is added to the Wycombe squad that brilliantly beat Millwall 2-1 on Tuesday. Sam Parkin who was ineligible on Tuesday also returns and he looks set to replace Niall Thompson up-front. Baird is likely to be on the bench along with Dave Carroll who made only his second appearance this season against Millwall. Pacy forward, Jermaine McSporran, last season's top scorer Sean Devine, Paul Emblen and influential defender, Jamie Bates are all out injured. Wycombe boss, Lawrie Sanchez will play a similar side to the one that beat Millwall.

PROBABLE (4-4-2) Taylor; Townsend, Cousins, McCarthy, Vinnicombe; Harkin, Simpson, Bulman, Brown; Parkin, Rammell. Subs: Rogers, Carroll, Baird, Ryan, Thompson.

KEY MAN

Steve Brown - veteran midfield tackler who has been outstanding in recent games. Loads of commitment and bottle but picks up a lot of bookings.
